Every day after lunch, Katie and Owen go with me to put Audrey down for a nap. We sing her two bedtime songs: "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing" (Owen's favorite) followed by "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star" (Audrey's favorite). Every time we sing that last line, "how I wonder what you are," she pulls her fingers out of her mouth and sings, "Up-a bubba bubba bye" to get us to sing the last half again. This can go on for SOME TIME, as all three of my children are masters of putting sleep off for as long as possible.
But I love the kids' version of "Come Thou Fount."
Katie - "Let Thy goodness like a feather bind my wandring heart to Thee."
Owen - "Teach me some mewodious Sonic, sung by fwaming tongues above."
